Another month of trying to get Nathan to recognize colors have past. I'm still not totally convinced that my methods are working. He repeats the color to me but when asked to find a color he isn't doing so well. I need to reevaluate my ideas and be more constant. I blame myself but I'm also wondering if he is just too young still. February was Red. I made some box blocks out of construction paper and slipper gift boxes.
He likes playing with the box blocks and we have been trying to collect red toys from his toy box. We also try to pick out all his red cars and separate them from the other colors. Like before with the color blue I will continue to review red throughout the next month as we concentrate on March's color - Green. Wish me luck and if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
